La Souleilo is located in the heart of the Ariège Pyrenees, in a preserved natural area that is easy to reach from the major cities in Southwest France. Ariège can be accessed by plane, train, or car. To fully enjoy the region, a car is essential (public transport is limited).
📍 Enter in your GPS: “SOULEILO ERCE 09140”
- Take the South ring road then exit n°25 towards Tarbes.
- Stay on the A64 motorway for about 60 km until exit n°20.
- Then follow Saint-Girons for 28 km.
- In Saint-Girons, follow signs to: Guzet Ski Station – Seix – Oust.
- In Oust, turn towards Ercé (24 km from Saint-Girons).
As you enter the village of Ercé: - Drive past the small grocery shop. - 100 m further, turn left following the sign Hameau de Cominac. - Climb up to the church. - Continue for about 1 km. After two hairpin bends, you will see two large rubbish containers.
- Take the track on the right marked Gîte Rural. - Follow the climb for 1 km: you will then see La Souleilo and its large terrace on your left.
A small gate with two pivoting bars prevents animals from passing: ➡️ Drive forward slowly and push them open.
