We have a lot of torrents and rivers and the spring season is the best as the rivers are full of water from melting snow.

Our numerous streams and rivers flow year round with a period of high water during spring snowmelt.
The Soueix village Kayak Club is ideal for those who love water and want to have fun. You can go as long as you can swim and arenot afraid of water. Children starting from 7 years old and all the whole family can participate. You will be supervised by qualified river guides.
The Kayak club will be open from April to October
It is on the camping La Claire at Soueix. Picnic area are available.
Equipment
All equipment is provided (wetsuit, lifejacket, helmet). You have to bring your own swimsuit and shoes that can get into water (old basketball for example).
In Spring: from April to June: rafting, hydro speed, two-seater inflatable kayak canoe (called a "hotdog") or one seater (called "air-boat" or "canoraft)
In Summer: July to September / October: Canoe into hard plastic who are accessible to beginners.
Where to go
According to the flow of Salat River: Between le Pont de la Taule and Kercabanac (7 to 15 km) The runs are generally done in half a day.
For the rest of the day or for those who do not want to go by boat, you can go for swimming. You will find deep holes and small sandy beaches but the water is very cold.
In Spring: 25 € / person / half day (about 1:30 on the river)
In Summer: 15 € / person / half day (about 1:30 on the river)

Prices include the loan of suitable equipment (wetsuit, lifejacket, helmet), transportation to the activity ("shuttles"), and insurance.
You must book in advance especially during high tourist season.
